Per the man law code and if not it should be
I applaud this.
Ok so it was nice of him to do that and all, but are we just gonna ignore how fucking INGENIOUS it was for him to put it under the toilet seat?
Like, I’m simultaneously mad at the girl for cheating, impressed with the decency of the guy letting the boyfriend know, and blown away with the creativity of the placing the note there.
Many mixed feelings.
WIZARDING SCHOOLS AROUND THE WORLD: AUSTRALIAOriginally located in Arnhem Land, The Australian College of Sorcery and Witchcraft was a sprawling campus of large huts that eventually coalesced into one single structure. The school separated from mainland Australia soon after British settlement in order escape diseases that killed a large portion of the indigenous population. Ever since, the school has been drifting haphazardly along the Australian coast. Every year, a team of witches and wizards must be employed to anchor the floating campus so students don’t have to go on a cat-and-mouse chase at the beginning of the year in order to attend school (a frustrating endeavour which often results in the postponing of classes due to the lack of a present student population). Due to the campus’s exposure to ocean-life, the College of Sorcery and Witchcraft boasts incredibly extensive courses in aquatic creature studies, and is held in high esteem by the international wizarding community for its innovations in water magic.
If you refuse to live a thrifty lifestyle and sacrifice needless luxuries in order to pay for necessities (food, clothes, and shelter), and end up not being able to afford necessities, thats not because the damn minimum wage…
COUGH COUGH HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THE LIBRARY??? ALSO MOST SCHOOLS HAVE A COMPUTER LAB
hahahahah AHAHAHHA hahahahaha yes because everyone lives within easy distance either by walking or public transport of a library or school lab, and jobs and schools do not at all require you to take work home with you or require you to have your own internet access or personal computer to take with you. I have obviously most certainly never been asked by schools or universities to bring my own computer to class in order to do the work required or do it at home bc labs and libraries all close at certain times, or have limits on the amount of time you can be on the computers for and require money for printing, and sometimes internet access and i have most certainly never been asked to take home work from my job and do work over night to be brought in the next day or have had plans change via email late at night.
Its foolish to pretend that it isn’t essential in a time where most institutions and employers almost require you to have steady access to a computer, and yeah u kno, u can do it at a library or a lab, but hey, that also requires money to get to and from (if you drive or take public transport, and if you’re like me the nearest library is half an hour away which uses almost half a tank of petrol too and from), limited time periods of availability, limited access to internet (download limits and speed), limited access to printing—same goes for school labs tbh, which have even less availability and less resources.
like, lmao its pretty essential for a lot of people.
My son is in 5th grade and I’ve already had to let him use my computer to do research for one of his classes. There wasn’t an option for “I don’t have a computer at home. So, I can’t do this project.”
That and I use the internet to find deals. I print coupons to help with my shopping trips because the papers here get really crappy coupons.
